Sodexo is seeking an experienced Chef Manager, Regional Operations Support to join our Senior Living team to support a variety of Senior Living accounts located in the Northeast Region (from NY, PA, MA, CT, NJ, VA). The position will be based out of one of our accounts in Buffalo, NY and will travel approximately 80% of the time. This position is temporary and can range in length up to 18 months (with the ability to apply for permanent internal positions). Travel expenses are Sodexo-paid.

experiences and deliver on business results by completing assignments in a supportive environment. This position will work a 5 and 2 or 10 and 4 schedule based on business needs.

- Culinary Creativity: Follows culinary trends and innovates using local sustainable food sources, is able to translate ideas into unique menu and recipe programs that advance the culinary experience across the regional enterprise.
- Leadership: Ability to effectively communicate to Sous Chefs, Key Personnel, Catering Staff and Management Teams along with a passion and dedication to be “one of the best”. Must be highly engaged and extremely hands-on in day to day operations.
- Training: Must be able to articulate and demonstrate a wide ranging variety of cooking techniques and skills for the catering staff (plate presentation, quality, safety, proper culinary techniques).
- Financial: Ability to show proven results with food costs, labor and controllable expenses.
Position Summary
Responsible for the day to day execution of the menus & culinary deliverables. May be responsible for smaller units within a multi-location.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement – High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience – 1 year
