Concessions Manager 1
Sodexo is seeking a Concessions Manager 2 for UCONN in Storrs, CT. This exciting role will manage Sports Suites, Stadium Club and Summer Sports Concessions for our teams throughout the academic year. Enjoy Major Holidays and campus breaks OFF! Fast paced, high-volume campus concessions experience is a must for our successful candidate. Our successful candidate will develop an inclusive culture for employee teams, students and customers.Targeted salary $60,000.
Our athletic program is growing, and with that, our concession business is poised to step-up to the next level. This role will set and execute a vision for innovation, and lead concessions operations. Queue management and extensive Cash Handling Management experience are required.
Our successful candidate will work alongside the employee teams during events, managing the concessions hands-on during the full shift and will lift at least 50lbs continuously as there is a need to keep all venues fully stocked.
Assists in the management of food preparation and service operations in a concessions unit (i.e., stadiums, amusement parks). Responsible for inventory control with an emphasis on production needs. Assists in staff hiring and training. May supervise less than two full time employees.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement – High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
