In this role you will:
Define the GSL&D content/knowledge management strategy and using best-practices in knowledge modeling, knowledge architecture (taxonomy, ontology), metadata tagging, search, and content structuring and optimization
Develop, implement, and maintain GSL&D knowledge processes such as curation and consumption that deliver highly relevant, personalized content for sales learners
Design the knowledge management architecture as a subset of our larger GSL&D MLX reference architecture
Create information governance and standards across GS L&D teams and key organizational stakeholders
Organize knowledge for ease-of-access and integration within our core learning platforms with a focus on delivering an optimal user experience.
Use data and insights into user behaviors to design new content retrieval strategies and experiences
Influence the evolving role of cognitive tools (AI, ML, graph, etc.) in the sales learning experience with the goal of improving user adoption and productivity.
Act as GSL&D’s ambassador in representing our priorities and collaborating across BUs in cross-company knowledge initiatives

Bachelor’s Degree in a knowledge-related field (Library Science, Data Science, etc.)
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the industry in an advisory or team-leadership role within Knowledge Management or L&D
Proven track record of communicating the business strategy for knowledge management, analyzing and designing content structures and knowledge, intersecting people and culture in knowledge usage, and creating and communicating recommendations in alignment with KM best practices
Demonstrated proficiency in:
- Critical-thinking and a consulting mindset
- Stakeholder / client engagement
- Problem solving and analysis
- Ability to make data-driven decisions
- Storyboarding strategy decks and data visualization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in large-scale knowledge management processes for learning systems (LXP, LMS), social learning/collaboration (MS Teams, etc.), and CRM (Salesforce)
- Strong working knowledge of data analytics, infographics, and data-driven information experience
