We are looking for a Solutions Architect, a thought leader to define strategy, build standard architecture for Dell’s workload solution. This role will focus on working with the Dell Engineering team to standardize the solution to be delivered as a Service to Dell customers in Austin, Texas or any remote location in the U.S.

As part of the Solutions Engineering team for Dell Cloud Managed Services Platform team, you will be in a dynamic environment with other motivated, talented individuals who inspire greatness in their teammates. You will:
- Define standard Cyber Recovery (CR) solution architecture for our customers
- Identify solutions feature requirements to support common customer use-case running on Dell’s CR engineered stack
- Integrate with Dell Cloud Management Platform to enable delivery of aaS
- Define monitoring and management requirements to deliver performance and availability requirements and test solution against them
- Work with automation engineers to automate solution installation, patch testing
- Document the solution installation guides, network connectivity, rack design
- Act as the last stop to simulate customer issues in the lab and interface with Dell and non-dell product engineering
Essential Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, technical degree, or equivalent work experience with 8+ years of experience in Architecting and Implementing highly available and scalable products – with emphasis on products for highly technical users (e.g., software engineers, system engineers, site reliability engineers)
- Hands-on deployment and architecture experience using various hardware and software platforms including Data Domain, PowerProtect, CyberSense, Cyber Recovery, Avamar, and Networker and use other infrastructure services like NTP, DNS, Logging, AD, firewalls
- Knowledge of the Vault architecture for secure data transmission and recovery of customer data
- Management & Operations tools experience with a goal of zero touch automation in a multi-tenant manner
- Prior working experience with Agile software development, DevSecOps, IaC and their Automation toolchains e.g. Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Jira, Git
Desirable Requirements
- Worked in Engineering, Consulting or Managed Services business
- Team player, supporting and promoting team accomplishments with a proven ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across a matrix organization in a highly fluid environment
- Implementation experience of zero trust security
- Experience working closely with Site Reliability Engineering teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communicator – able to translate complex technical constructs/solutions to all level of understanding including C-Suite
