Develop, create, and modify general computer applications; Lead Technology and platform Delivery functions for selected clients; Oversee, lead and participate in new project builds, large scale enhancements and performing specific functions as needed for software architecture, design, development and resource allocation; Perform complex software development, troubleshoot, install, upgrade, configure and optimize underlying cutting edge technologies in modern cloud infrastructures; Identify and lead improvements in Technology Practice platforms; Coordinate and work with Product teams to identify the issues, gaps, workarounds and custom implementations as needed; Communicate verbally and in writing with both technical and business staff, internally and externally; Synthesize relevant information on key milestones, success criteria, and risks to management; Lead and grow a competent development team through effective hiring, training, goal-setting, coaching, and performance evaluations; Establish, document, and enforce Technology Practice development standards that comply with corporate policies and security requirements.
Requirements: Employer will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field; and 2 years of work experience in job offered or 2 years of work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience with each of the following:
1) Cloud Solutions Architecture (Amazon Web Services);
2) Big Data/Hadoop and NoSQL technologies;
3) experience with Database Design and Data modeling;
4) experience with Design, Development, testing Oracle Database and Data warehousing implementations;
5) experience with Database Programming in PL/SQL (Procedural and Structured Query Language);
6) experience in Data migration including datacenter and Amazon Redshift database;
7) experience with ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) tool;
8) UNIX, SQL, and APIs (Application Programming Interface); and
9) experience with Application design, Proof of concepts, Code Development, and Testing.
Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. May telecommute from home.
