Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Customer Education & Enablement team members, subject matter experts, stakeholders, and business teams to identify goals and outcomes for learning experiences.
- Design and develop knowledge-building, awareness-raising, and performance-focused training content.
- Design and develop online learning experiences that align with learning outcomes, apply evidence-based learning principles, and inform learner progress and success in online learning environments, across a multi-cultural environment.
- Use appropriate tools and delivery methods to produce blended learning materials promoting learning through self-study, practice, performance support, and socialization.
- Participate in a community of learning professionals to share best practices and identify emerging learning needs.
- Facilitate, coordinate and deliver instructor-led training to PerkinElmer customers.
- Maintain knowledge of new developments in learning science, design, and technologies,
- Continually evaluate solutions for quality, business impact, and scalability
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related fields such as Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics disciplines
- 5 + years of experience in an Instructional Design capacity to develop, implement, measure for and analyze for training success
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- Experience and interest in video and/or eLearning production, including design, planning, creation, and editing
- Experience in laboratory work at a Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Petro-Chemical company and has strong technical skills.
- Experience building lesson plans and in creating collateral for technical training and/or experience as teacher/professor is desired
- Experience using video production software, such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalents
- Experience in the use of PowerPoint with representative images and examples is desired
- Ability and confidence to effectively communicate and interact with technical and scientific personnel in a variety of levels
- Strong organization skills, and discipline is required, experience as a project manager is a plus
- Proven ability to collaborate, inspire and coach others
- Demonstrate technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to explore, and the curiosity to learn independently
- Strong English written and oral communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Willingness and ability to travel
