Storage Marketing Programs Sr. Manager - Remote, US
The Storage Programs team implements Marketing, Technical & Operational support to sales tasked with delivering share growth through the enablement of marketing & sales teams. They do so through leading a team tasked with the following outcomes:
Integrating into the sales BMS to navigate sales to new TAM leveraging solutions content deep collaboration with cross-functional teams like Segment Marketing, Sales Operations, Product group, Finance, Global Operations and Field Marketing segment peers. Building and customize intermediate and long-term planning frameworks including go-to-market motions Coordination, dissemination & implementation of training and enablement activities across North America Design operational structure to implement programmatic sales activities serving each route to market Creation and execution of coordinated storage sales plays and programs to align with quarterly product strategy Deriving and disseminating relevant insights from careful data analytics and business intelligence Providing sales teams with technical expertise around the entire storage portfolio of products & services
The team is Product Marketing Program focused tasked to grow our storage product portfolio. The candidate must have extensive knowledge of all Storage products and understand how they map to customer business drivers. Their focus is to help account teams increase sales of Dell Storage products and solutions by leading storage-related sales activities within the segment. The Storage Marketing Programs team will work directly with our sales teams and resources such as Storage Field Marketing Segment peers, Sales Operations, Marketing and Finance to ensure that we are delivering storage solutions with the optimal technology for our customers. They closely align to core, specialty and DCS sales teams, focusing on the storage lines of business. They work closely with Product Group, Product Line Managers and Marketing resources to coordinate storage training activities, programs & campaigns. This includes packaging and coordinating execution of solutions-based enablement across North America sales organizations.
- Undergraduate degree required; MBA a plus
- 8+ years of relevant business experience in the IT industry (Sales, Sales Operations or ProductEngineering – sales experience strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of people management
- A record of inspiring teams and communicating clear role scope
- Strong influence and collaboration skills
- Willing to travel periodically
- Strong analytics/insights capabilities
- Deep understanding of the Dell sales structure, culture and ethos
- Proven ability to operate successfully in high-stress environments & ever-changing priorities
