Job Description
Sodexo is seeking an Administrative Assistant 2, Capital Health Medical Center – Regional Division, located in Trenton, New Jersey. This position will be responsible for 3 departments, the Environmental Service, Patient Escort, and BioMed department.The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to process employee payrolls, coordinate invoicing activities and consolidate unit reports. The position requires someone with strong attention to detail, treats sensitive / confidential information with appropriate discretion, and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Advanced skill level with Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Power-Point and Excel. This is a day shift position with some weekends and holidays. This position will report to the Director of Operations on – site.
The successful candidate will:
- have experience with SharePoint, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- demonstrate strong attention to detail;
- work as a team player and can work independently; and/or
- demonstrate the initiative to seek solutions, resolve issues and have a hunger to grow and develop in this role.
- process payroll for 100 Capital Health union employees.
We are looking for candidates who are:
- fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and SharePoint;
- detailed oriented, flexible, and have ability to manage multiple priorities; and/or
- have excellent organization, communication and project management skills.

Position Summary
Performs a wide range of administrative and general support duties. Frequently communicates with senior-level internal and external contacts and is regularly exposed to confidential data. Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. Understands how the assigned duties relate to others in the team and how the team integrates with other teams.
This position resides in-unit or above-unit.
