This is a Remote Role based in Austin, TX!
The Business Development Representative will support the Corporate Services segment in targeted account development for Food and Facilities Management services in key sectors to help grow new business revenue. They will be responsible for outbound outreach to new clients in order to pre-qualify, build, and nurture pipeline for Segment Sales. The Business Development Representative will grow this new business by identifying and working a target list of prospective clients through phone, email, social, web and other digital applications to generate qualified opportunities. They will also be responsible for driving and closing smaller transactional revenue opportunities in high velocity engagements within a mid to large sized target market.
The ideal candidate will:
- Identify leads through targeted outreach via phone, email, web, social, and internal systems (Outreach.io)
- Prospect and build pipeline within target market
- Assist in onboarding and mentoring teammates and new hires
- Attend, participate, present in team, segment, and other relevant reoccurring meetings
- Participate in selection process of new associates; assist in on-boarding and mentoring associate level, rep level and peer level employees as we build the team
- Meet target quota
The ideal candidate will have:
- Very strong work ethic, self-motivated – ability to meet or exceed quota while working remotely
- 1-2 years of prospecting or sales experience
- Ability to partner and collaborate with cross functional teams
- Experience working in Food Service or Facilities Management Services helpful
- Outbound prospecting experience
- Experience running lead generation campaigns and multi-touch cadences
- Experience collaborating with a field sales team with lead handoff
- Experience working with Salesforce.com, App savvy: Smart with technology, Chrome extensions, video, chat, and other sales productivity tools

- Ability to initiate and nurture collaborative relationships with segment sales and marketing leaders
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, including ability to manage multiple, concurrent sales cycles
- Excellent verbal, written, communications and presentation skills
- Forecasting and delivering results that meet/exceed plan
- Full proficiency of pipeline management and dashboards.
- Work Ethic – proactively pursue opportunities with high energy/stamina with demonstrated passion for your solutions, customers, and goal attainment
- Desire to expand professional knowledge of product and sales skills
- Strong organizational, planning and problem skills
- Mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint, MSWord, Excel and Outlook

Position Summary

- Develop outbound account-based campaigns in conjunction with Marketing and Segment Sales
- Identify leads through targeted outreach via phone, email, web, social, and internal systems (Outreach.io). Volume expectations to be confirmed as appropriate at level.
- Advance and close transactional sales through high velocity engagements within a mid to large sized target market.
- Attend, participate and present in Team, Segment, and other relevant reoccurring meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Functional Experience – 3 years
