Job Title: Clean Room Technician
Work Location: Shelton, CT
Summary:
Responsibility for performing functions in a cleanroom associated with assembling products in a manufacturing fast past environment, the ideal candidate must be able to accomplish assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Work in a clean room setting:
- To produce and test critical assemblies used to produce mass spectrometer instruments, Processes include – clean assembly ,epoxy dispense, soldering, vacuum leak testing, washing of parts, test equipment, bonding, laser engraving, laser welding, Coordinate measuring machine verification.
- Performs production processes in accordance with documented specifications and production schedules.
- Will handle chemicals on a daily basis.
- Work in a Class 10K & 100K environment which requires wearing cleanroom attire.
- Adhere to all safety and clean room standards.
- May be requested to provide operational assistance to engineering personnel.
- Interacts with other team members toward the solution of problems and the fulfillment of manufacturing objectives and participates in natural work group teams for continuous improvement.
- Performs other duties as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Sap, PDM).
- Experience working under basic safety and cleanroom protocol.
- Cleanroom experience is a plus.
Other Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in a group as well as on an individual level.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team with people of various educational and technical backgrounds.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret specifications, procedures, and mathematics.
- Requires the ability to read and write English.
Physical Requirements & Expectations:
- Ability to work in a Cleanroom environment.
- Ability to wear the full clean room attire.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
