Job Description
Sodexo is seeking an experienced Concessions Manager 2 for the University of Tulsa, in Tulsa, OK. This position oversees the concession operations at the University of Tulsa. This includes the on-campus stadium, arena, soccer facility, softball field, and tennis facility during special events. The successful candidate will have experience in marketing our offerings, providing high-quality food, in a quick-service multi-stand environment and with a premium customer service approach. Training and development of hourly staff, as well as NPO groups is essential to being successful. Relationship building in the areas of NPO recruiting and retention is vital to being operationally effective. The desire to work in an athletic environment with a team approach to reaching goals is desired. The annual athletic schedule drives your calendar, work weeks and daily hours so it can be very fast-paced followed by no events and a time to ponder lessons learned and plan for future events. Flexibility & Adaptability are key attributes to being successful in this position. Experience with alcohol sales and ability to obtain an alcohol license is required.

Position Summary
Provides supervision for food preparation and service operations in a concessions account/unit (i.e., stadiums, amusement parks) to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through cost containment and safety.
Key Duties
- Utilizes Sodexo resources, systems and programs to direct daily operations including; food production, stand inventory, product deliveries, invoices, and procurement operations.
- Directs daily operations in a concessions account/unit to ensure employees, NPO (non-profit organizations) groups and 3rd party vendors (if applicable) have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources to perform their job, and meet goals, cost controls and deadlines as assigned.
- Ensures that concessions area, equipment and storage facilities are sanitary, neat and organized. Drives a Zero Harm mindset by maintaining a safe work environment including both food and physical safety in order to comply with all regulatory and Sodexo standards.
- Complies with budget requirements by controlling costs (i.e. labor, inventory, equipment, materials) and making adjustments when necessary
- Supervises employees, NPO groups and 3rd party vendors by delegating, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards to ensures that employees demonstrate an active customer hospitality orientation toward customers and clients.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement – High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience – 1 year
