Consultant, Product Manager (APEX) - Remote US
Showcasing excellence and innovation at every stage, Product Management is responsible for the cross-functional management of products or solutions through their entire lifecycle. Using a wealth of technical and industry experience, we work across functional areas to implement our products or solutions. We undertake thorough analysis of the markets to ensure we maximize profitability and adjust our product strategies to respond to competition. Our role also involves acting as subject matter experts for internal and external product events or partner meetings.
Join us as a Consultant on the APEX Offer Product Management team in Austin, TX to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact. This Product Manager role will be responsible for product planning, product management, strategy, product roadmap, and product launch for APEX Solution Offerings in partnership with various product engineering, sales, delivery organizations internally and partners, and customers externally. This role requires product management experience and a solid understanding of virtualization and container ecosystems and infrastructure systems such as servers, network storage, network switches and related subsystems. This is a high impact role for an individual contributor that will set the direction for on-premise as-a-Service offerings and reshape the IT industry as businesses transform from using IT infrastructure as traditional owned assets to infrastructure (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS).
The candidate will also be responsible for helping to define the roadmap for Dell Technologies APEX solution offers, which are used by our customers to host workloads across a spectrum of customer owned data centers, edge sites and public clouds.

- Manage products throughout their entire lifecycle
- Support business case for improvements or new products
- Capture and manage requirements and provide a simple interpretation
- Drive preparation for external and internal product events
- Excellent technology/engineering skills relating to design, test and quality
- Solid grasp of business goals and objectives as they relate to customer use cases and solutions
- Proven experience working on a world-class product
- Previous experience with AAS offerings
