University Hospitals is Northeast Ohio’s second largest private sector employer. UH performs more than 4.5 million outpatient procedures and nearly 63,000 inpatient discharges annually. As the successful candidate, you will lead and facilitate all new construction projects entering into the UH system for proposal development, and then liaison direct to the construction team for execution once approved. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Construction. The technical aspects of this position are extremely important however equally matched is the ability to connect with all stakeholders utilizing strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Will have an emphasis on preconstruction planning due to the volume of projects that the UH – PDC team deals with on a yearly basis, which is in excess of 150 potential projects yearly
- Will control the influx of new project request direct from the client and manage the governance model created for the client to manage their work volume load in the system.
- Will have direct interface across multiple client and internal construction services & facilities

- Will work directly with unit location presidents, client VP of system resources, and manage the governance model created for the client to manage their work volume load in the system
- Interface will be with C Suite, VP level personnel with client and with the RVP and VP leads for the segment and facility teams, as well as direct interaction with the CS Directors of Construction and PM’s

Position Summary
This position leads a portion of the Construction Project Management team. This support department within the Service Operations team will support infrastructure renewal projects, capital improvement projects, energy projects, and construction management capabilities across Sodexo’s North America Business units. This position will oversee the support of each component of the Construction Initiative including but not limited to Market requirements, education, customer liaison, defining and developing solutions, and continuous improvement. Contributes to driving business development and retention objectives across all business units via offer, technical capability, service excellence and education to internal and external clients and customers.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Functional Experience – 7 years in construction or related field
Basic Management Experience – 7 years supervisory experience
