The Impact of Autism on People of Color
When we look for ways to build inclusion initiatives within our workspaces, we first need to have a foundation to understand the needs of our peers with different backgrounds. This includes (but is not limited to) people born with Autism. Looking at how access to healthcare and professional services affects families of color handling Autism and other special-needs diagnoses is imperative.
Here, we create the space to explore how minority communities have handled Autism related diagnoses. We need to better understand both the context and solutions to be able to come together and bridge the gaps that diverse communities are facing. Let’s take social responsibility together and do a deeper dive into this.
